Co-Founder at PAYUCA / AT
In July 2003 Viktor successfully graduated from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences with distinction, completing his studies in Multimedia Art, specialising in film and video. Subsequently, in 2004, he founded the Blendwerk Filmmaschinerie film production company in Vienna, where, as producer and cameraman, he realized numerous commercial productions, corporate videos and documentaries and won countless prizes.
At the beginning of his entrepreneurial career he was lucky to cooperate with the management consultancy firm Leupold6Leupold and was a part of larger consulting projects with companies such as Telekom Austria, the Austrian National Bank, WKO and TNT. In 2009, further education led him to the USA, where he completed the Cinematographer’s Residency Programme at Maine Media College. In 2014, with the theatrical release of his 90-minute sports documentary “Attention – a life in extremes” in Austria and Germany, he realised his life-long dream of bringing a film to the big screen.
Since 2005 Viktor Schaider and Moe Mahmoodian have not only been sharing an office, but also the pain to find new parking opportunities. As a result, they started researching and came up with an innovative idea – PAYUCA was born. PAYUCA’s vision is to establish Smart Parking in major cities, solving two problems at once with their sophisticated IoT access management system. The young startup brings car drivers, who need affordable and close short-time parking spaces, and property owners with vacant garage parking places together, increasing efficiency and saving time and money.
